Kseniya Belousova is a self-made model, with almost 700K+ followers on Instagram, from Siberia who recently became one of the new faces of GUESS. She is also a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls and has starred in a popular TV show in Italy! Read more to learn how her determination and positive mindset contributes to her success.

1. What inspired you to get into modeling? What age did you start?

When I was a child I was inspired by top models of the 90 like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Shiffer. I started modeling when I was 15.

2. Tell us about some of your greatest accomplishments as a model.

I always knew that I had a different look and becoming a GUESS model was just a dream come true!

3. Huge congrats on becoming a model for GUESS!! How did you land this incredible opportunity?

Paul Marciano himself scouted me on Instagram and invited me for a casting in LA.

4. Do you work out? If so, what do you like to do for exercise? How do you incorporate staying healthy and working out while traveling?

I used to work out in the gym and I love to do yoga. Bikram yoga is my favorite because I came from Siberia and I love when it is very hot 😂. Now, unfortunately I don’t have so much time to do it because I found a different, very useful and fun sport for myself – dancing! I am now participating in the reality TV program Dancing With The Stars in Italy. It’s an amazing work out which keeps me moving every day and keeps me in good shape! Of course eating healthy is the number one important thing. It doesn’t have to be a diet, just a healthy lifestyle every day. A lot of veggies and protein and less carbs and sugar.

5. What do you consider the most challenging part of modeling?

The most important in modeling to me is to be who you are, you always have to be yourself and don’t think, “oh she is more beautiful, or she is better than me, or she is skinnier, or she is more popular” etc., Always believe in yourself and stay strong. The modeling business is very competitive but your biggest competitor is yourself.

6. What do you consider the most rewarding aspect of modeling?

That satisfaction you get after your hard job pays off.

7. What are some of your favorite mobile apps? Also, what apps do you typically use to edit your photos?

Instagram is my favorite mobile app and I use Facetune to edit my photos.

8. What overwhelms you the most with social media and how do you overcome it?

Really many things disgust me in social media which I best don’t speak about 😂🤦‍♀️

9. What are your goals for next year?

I don’t like to speak about it, I like to make things happen. The less you speak and the more you do is better.

10. What advice can you give to other women who are interested in starting a modeling career?

You need to be brave, you need to be strong and always believe in yourself no matter what people tell you. Don’t give up!
